Minnie Jeanné Loubser

Minnie Jeanné Loubser is a Clinical Psychologist, International presenter, trainer and supervisor with more than 40 years of experience.  Minnie qualified in 1980 and lectured at the University of the Western Cape, in South Africa until 1989 before moving to KZN with her family in 1990. She completed a second masters degree in Clinical Psychology. She worked in her private practice which she developed into a multidisciplinary group practice. She specialised in helping people with Complex Trauma and Neurodiversity (ADHD/ASD). She also supervised Interns in a Community Psychology project which she co-developed with the University of Zululand.

Minnie moved to Stellenbosch where she had her practice from 2011 to 2020. Currently she lives and works in Switzerland and teaches and supervises Internationally. She’s usually in SA for 3 months per year. Minnie works mostly online but prefers in person sessions (whenever possible.) 

Minnie trained in everything she could access over the past 40+ years; Brain based and Body based – because of being ever curious and in trying to find therapies that really work: CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, Hypnosis, Ego state therapy, IFS, Play therapy, Sand Play therapy, Narrative therapy, EFT, EMDR, EMI, Brainspotting, Neurofeedback, Impact therapy, Resource therapy, Developmental Touch Therapy, TRE, Somatic Experiencing and BWRT.

Somatic Experiencing® is fundamental in all her work and is an integral part of all her sessions, whatever other modality may also be utilised. She follows an individualised, integrated, multi-dimensional approach. She teaches EMI (Eye Movement Integration) and Resource Therapy internationally and supervises psychologists.

It has been her dream for many years to bring SE training to therapists in South Africa.

TRAINER | BEGINNER AND INTERMEDIATE

Rachporn Sangkasaad

Rachaporn (Rachi) is a licensed psychologist, body-oriented psychotherapist, embodied SE practitioner and Faculty member. For more than 20 years, she has been specialising in Trauma healing in her private practice, in companies as well as teaching and presenting at international congresses.

Rachi was born in Thailand, grew up in Switzerland and lived in the Netherlands. She brings elements of East, West and now also Africa, together in the best way, connecting between countries and cultures. She is passionate about SE and teaches in a playful, joyful and relaxed way, supporting her students’ curiosity and interactions.

Since Rachi’s own SE journey began, she has been assisting Peter Levine and many SE teachers in Europe, Brazil, Hong Kong and she assisted Maggie Philips in South Africa. She continues to assist Peter Levine’s post-advanced workshops in Switzerland, where she now lives again.

Since 2019 Rachi teaches as Faculty member in many different European countries. She speaks fluent Thai, German, Swiss German, Dutch and English.

Rachi will be teaching the Beginner and Intermediate Levels.

TRAINER | ADVANCED

Sònia Gomes

Sònia Gomes (PhD in Clinical psychology) has more than 35 years of experience in the field of Clinical Psychology and Body Guidance. She has additional degrees in Structural Rolfing® as well as Rolfing Movement Teaching and is a devoted student of Hubert Godard, Movement Analysis. She also developed and teaches Soma-Embodiment.

Sònia is a SE International Senior Faculty Member at SEI (Somatic Experiencing ® International) She teaches SE in Brazil, Europe, United States, Asia and South Africa.

Sònia’s students confirm the excellent mastery of SE and body therapies that she teaches in demonstrations and personal sessions.

Sònia will be teaching the Advanced Level in South Africa.
